The Guardsmen 27th Annual Celebrity Dinner and Sports Auction at the Fairmont Hotel

SAN FRANCISCO – On Thursday February 5th The Guardsmen hosted the 27th Annual Celebrity Dinner and Sports Auction raising money for Bay Area at-risk youth.  Barry Bonds was featured as the honorary chairman for the event and headlined an evening packed with a VIP pre-party, silent auction, and live auction featuring amazing memorabilia and event packages.   The Guardsmen partnered with the Giants Community Fund and celebrated a third World Series Championship in five years and were joined by current Giants players: Javier Lopez, Joe Panik, Sergio Romo, Travis Ishikawa, and George Kontos. The Giants were kind enough to bring the three World Series trophies to The Fairmont and attendees were able to get their photo with the hardware.

”We’re very excited to continue this tradition and appreciate the opportunity to partner with the Giants Community Fund. The Celebrity Dinner and Sports Auction is a signature event for our organization and is an important part of supporting Bay Area at-risk youth,” said Mike Hall, member of the Guardsmen and Co-Chair of this year’s event.
