RACE TIMES

10 MILE race starts at 8:00 AM sharp
10 KILOMETER race starts at 8:30 AM sharp
5 KILOMETER race starts at 9:00 AM sharp

To eliminate congestion, the 10 Mile and 10 Kilometer race starts will have three separate waves based on runners speed.

Elite - Runners that run 7 minute miles or less
Casual - Runners that run 9 - 10 minute miles
Weekender - Runners that run 10 minute miles or more

LOCATION

The start and finish to the race is located on Old Mason Street just west of the Presidio Sports Basement and south of Crissy Field. Race morning REGISTRATION and PACKET PICKUP is located here as well.

PARKING

Due to contruction, the area between McDowell Avenue and Girard Road will be closed. Parking is limited but available at the East Beach and near Letterman Hospital. Additional Parking is available at the Marina Green, but is a moderate walking distance from the race start area. We encourage you to take public transit if possible.

SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT PARKING

The Sports Basement parking lot will be closed to participants on the day of the event. Please park in the East Beach Parking Lot, the Letterman Hospital Parking Lot, or the Marina Green Parking Lot and walk to the Start and Finish area. Please refer to the map to see the Parking Lot and the path to the Start and Finish area.

SWEATS CHECK

Sweats check will be available under a tent near the Start Line.

COURSE

This beautiful, scenic course will undoubtedly leave you in awe. Both the 10 mile and 10 kilometer courses have been USATF certified.

WARNING Parts of the 10 mile and 10 kilometer race are on trails and therefore expect your shoes to get muddy. Be aware of obstacles such as stairs, tree roots, and slick surfaces. Unfortunately due to the stairs at the Sausalito side of the bridge NO STROLLERS are allowed in either race. Due to the crowded conditions in portions of the race NO PETS are allowed in the race - but please have them participate in the post-race EXPO.

AID STATIONS

We will have water and Gatorade Endurance formula at the aid stations indicated on the map.

Aid Stations

The 10 mile course will have 5 aid stations:
• 1.5 miles - Water, Gatorade
• 2.5 miles - Water, Gatorade
• 5 miles (Bridge Turnaround) - Water, Gatorade
• 7 miles - Water, Gatorade
• 8.5 miles - Water, Gatorade

The 10 kilometer course shares 2 aid stations:
• 2 miles - Water, Gatorade
• 4 miles - Water, Gatorade

POST RUN EXPO

Please join us for a festival on Crissy Field. We will have hot pancakes from the Guardsmen and breakfast burritos from Asqew Grill, acoustic music, massage tents, and an awards ceremony featuring a spectacular array of prizes for our age division winners.

AWARDS - Race Divisions include the following

Prizes will be awarded to top male and female finishers for the 10 Mile.

Male / Female: 17 and under, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over. We will also present special awards for the RRCA Champion, Master Champion, and Grand Champion. The 10K race will feature an RRCA inter-club competition. Every age division winner will receive a medal and an award package.
